One of the most important skills in the craft of Film Scoring, is the ability to make an entire score sound cohesive, unified, and coherent throughout every cue, for sometimes hours of music (think “Lord of the Rings” by Howard Shore). In this course, you’ll discover what it is that makes that possible, and how you can incorporate concepts of using Main Themes, Unifying Themes, and Motifs to create a Master Plan “Road Map”. And, in turn, how to identify and extract core elements to create the entire full length unified tapestry of your own large format scores.
